“If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but by all means keep moving.”
Martin Luther King JR.
I was soooo excited for this day to start. The countdown has felt incredibly long and I was anxious to get going on my transformation. Today, I was not let down. This program started out with a bang! 25 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which gets you constantly pushing your body to the max with minimal breaks in between sets. It’s obviously something that you do at your own pace, as there are many progressions you can follow along with. It’s fantastic to have all these options to get the best workout and results for your individual needs because clearly no two people want to exact same thing. Our only constant is to live a healthy and happy lives, but specific desires and goals clearly vary. For me this challenge is about pushing myself mentally and giving me the confidence to know I can accomplish it. I’ve got a crazy inner mean girl always making me second guess my decisions. As I make my way through the program, I hope to see more happiness, less stress / anxiety and the ability to motivate myself more easily, showing up just for ME… no one else!
As I go through this process, I need to remind myself of my “why”. It’s always important to have that question answered before you can truly believe in yourself and reach the goals that you set… no matter hat they are. My personal development entails more than just this program, but it’s definitely a start in the right direction.
Until next week ❤️
